These last 10 months have really flown by. At 10 months old Emma is now what they call a "cruiser." She spends much of her time walking along the edges of the furniture or holding our hands so that she can hone her new skills. I know I say this often, but she really, truly is the piece that completed our little family puzzle. We continue to be amazed by her each day, and can't wait to see each new trick she pulls out of her sleeve. We are a very receptive and appreciative audience, and she is a BIG ham - the perfect pairing!

some things are funny every time...
Driving home from school the other day I asked Cody, "What was for lunch today?" His response, which I've heard several times before but still find hilarious, "girl cheese sandwiches." Then, "I wonder why we don't ever have boy cheese?" LOVE IT!!!

rainy day fun
It has been raining nonstop for the last few days and we have all been feeling rather claustrophobic as a result. Today, in order to combat the rainy day blues, we took the kids to a new place that just opened up by the house. It is filled with bounce houses, bumper cars, and video games, and even has a place designated especially for babies. It was just what we needed to perk us up a bit and let the kids get some much needed active play time. Cody had a blast running, jumping, and making new friends, and Emma was very entertained by the baby ball pit. This little adventure proved to be a great escape from both the weather and the confines of our house.
Daddy's little girl!
Cody paused long enough to let me take this picture,
but he was annoyed by it and refused to smile.
Baby ball pit fun!
Super sweaty little boy!
