We took the kids to Old Sacramento tonight to ride on the Polar Express. It was fantastic. Cody loves Polar Express, and is totally in to Christmas this year, so he had a blast. On our ride to the "North Pole," we sang carols, drank hot chocolate and ate cookies, and saw Santa. At the end of the trip Santa gave each of the kids a bell from his sleigh - their "first gift of Christmas." It was truly a magical night for all!
Oh, I wish we had known...we totally would have taken our kiddos while in town!
